Good morning,

Asian markets week ending will mainly focus on Australian and Japanese fundamental data. Japanese Markit PMI figures will be released later, along with Aussie AiG Performance figures, followed by Retails Sales figures and trade balance data for Australia. AUDUSD was trading at 0.9241 after trading close to the 0.93 figure briefly.

The NIKKEI was trading at 14946.32 up 154.33 points or 1.04%

The European Central Bank will announce the interest rate decision tomorrow, with expectations that it will remain unchanged at 0.25%, this session however the Euro-Zone will publish the GDP and Producer Price Index data. EURUSD was trading at 1.3801 following a positive start to the week for the EUR.

The FTSE100 closed at 6649.71 down just 2.90 points or minus 0.04%while the DAX closed at 9627.28 up 23.57 points or 0.25%

Today sees no major news event scheduled in the US or Canadian markets although OIL traders will be interested in the EIA Crude Oil Stock figures. We have to wait another day for the ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI figures in the US, with Friday offering the Non-Farm Payroll figures and the unemployment rate announcements. Canada will also publish unemployment data on Friday and USDCAD, currently trading at 1.1022, could prove interesting during Friday’s session should data miss expectations.

The DOW closed at 16532.61 up 74.95 points, an increase of 0.46%

Hope you all have a good day.
