Japanese foreign investment figures were released overnight, and both sets of figures were down from previous readings. Foreign Investment in Japanese Stocks fell by ¥1015.9B according to the Ministry of Finance, with Foreign Bond Investment showing a ¥933.8B figure, down from ¥1,975.6B previously. USDJPY trading at 114.04 The Australian Trade Balance fell by less than had been expected, imports were down by one percent while exports were up by one. A 5% drop in exports had been priced in. AUDUSD trading at 0.7318 printing a yearly high this session at 0.7324 The NIKKEI was trading at 16960.16 for a gain of 213.61 points or 1.28% for the session. USDJPY trading at 114.00

In Europe this morning French unemployment figures were out for the 4th quarter of 2015 at 10.3% Hungarian Retail Sales figures and Spanish Markit Services Purchasing Managers' Index figures were also out this session. USDTRY trading at 2.9309 with Turkish Consumer and Producer Price Index figures for February recently announced. British Halifax House Prices numbers were out this session just before the recent round of Markit Services and PMI figures from Italy, France, Germany, the Euro Zone and Great Britain. Retail Sales figures from the EU are imminent at time of writing. EURUSD trading at 1.0860

On Wall Street today the Challenger Job Cuts year on year until February will start the action. Initial and Continuing Jobless Claims figures, along with Nonfarm Productivity and Unit Labor Costs figures for the 4th quarter, will follow an hour after. Then the Markit Services and Composite PMI figures for February are due for publication. Factory Orders and the ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI for February will round up the scheduled data for the day. GOLD was trading at $1241 per ounce. Tomorrow we will get the updated Unemployment Rate and Non Farm Payrolls figures from the US and Import and Export figures along with the Ivey Purchasing Managers Index from Canada. USDCAD trading at 1.3433
