Good morning,
Overnight we saw the Australian GDP in the third quarter reading 2.7% where it had been expected to remain unchanged at 3.1% The Aussie fell with AUDUSD trading at 0.8401 in a range not seen since 2010 The USD marked a fresh seven-year high against the JPY of 119.44 this session. USOIL traded for $67.37 at time of writing.
The NIKKEI was trading at 17720.43 up 57.21 points or 0.32% on yesterday’s close.
Swiss GDP beat expectations this session, with a reading of 1.9% against the 1.4% that had been expected. USDCHF trading at 0.9729 while EURCHF trades for 1.2033 Markit Services PMI figures are published this session for Spain, Italy, France, Germany, the Euro Zone and the UK. Tomorrow we await the Bank of England, and the European Central Bank Interest Rate announcements.
The FTSE100 traded at 6748.03 while the DAX was trading for 9966.60 at the outset of the European session.
American markets today will see the Markit Services PMI along with the ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI figure for November. EIA Crude Oil stocks change figures will be out this session, with USOIL trading at $67.37 per barrel. The Canadian Interest Rate decision will be announced this session, with the rate expected to remain unchanged at 1.0%, and the governor of the BoC, Stephen Poloz, will speak later in the evening. USDCAD trading at 1.1390
