Good morning,

Japanese markets will remain closed today for a bank holiday. The Reserve Bank of Australia will announce their Interest Rate decision in the coming 24 hours and in the next 48 hours New Zealand’s Unemployment Rate will be updated, with the rate currently at 5.7%. AUDUSD trading at 0.7829 while NZDUSD was trading at 0.7532

The NIKKEI closed at 19531.63 following Friday’s session.

In Europe today the United Kingdom remains closed for a bank holiday. Markit Manufacturing figures will be released for Italy, France, Germany, Greece and the Euro Zone Area. Norway’s Registered Unemployment figures for April are out this session. USDNOK trading at 7.5954 In Switzerland the SVME Purchasing Manager’s Index for April is due out EURCHF trading at 1.0470

The DAX was trading at 11516.48 up 62.10 points or 0.54% so far this session.

In the US today there isn’t much of interest aside for the Factory Orders figures for April. The ISM New York Index and FED members Evans and Williams are scheduled to speak today. EURUSD trading at 1.1167 while USOIL trades at $59.95 per barrel. Friday will be the big trading day in the US and Canada with Unemployment data from both nations out that session. USDCAD trading at 1.2155

The DOW closed at 18024.06 at the close on Friday.
