FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 15.08.2014

Good morning,

Today is a holiday in much of Europe; however Turkish 3m jobless average figures were released at 8.8% down from 9.0% Turkish Budget Balance will be published this session. USDTRY was trading at 2.1515 at time of writing. Norwegian Trade Balance is also due out this session, with USDNOK trading at 6.1561 Oil dropped during yesterday’s session Crude dropping from $97.37 at the open to currently trade for $95.35 at time of writing. This session British GDP figures are expected to be unchanged at 3.1% year on year for the second quarter.

The FTSE100 was trading at 6712.84 up 27.58 points or 0.41% while the DAX was trading at 9243.37 up 18.27 points, an increase of 0.20% so far.

US figures out today include the Producer Price Index figures for July, Net TIC Flows for June, Industrial Production figures for July and the Reuters/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index for August. GOLD was trading at $1313 per ounce at time of writing. Initial claims for unemployment benefits increased 21,000 to 311,000 for the week ended Aug. 9

The DOW closed at 16713.58 up 61.78 points an increase of 0.37%
