FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 15.05.2014

Good morning,

Asian equities performance was mixed and the Nikkei in Japan lost 108 points at 14,298 (-0.75%).  In Hong Kong the  Hang Seng rose 97.23 points to 22,680 (+0.43%) and the Shanghai Composite lost 22.94 points at 2,024.97 (-1.12%).  Yesterday US indices closed in negative territory and the S&P500 closed below its 1,900 resistance at 1,888.53 (-0.47%), down 8.92 points. DJIA closed off its all time high and lost 101.47 points at 16,613.97 (-0.61%) and Nasdaq lost 29.54 points at 4,100.63 (-0.72%). In this session European equities are slightly positive and the Stoxx50 is up 7.63 points at 3,218.05 (+0.24%) and the DAX is gaining 25.44 points at 9,779.83 (+0.26%).  Following the Bundesbank Chairman statements regarding the possibility of  ECB quantitative easing the financial community took bullish decisions on equities and bearish trades on the shared currency. EurUsd is down 46 pips at 1.3667 (-0.35%) and GbpUsd is losing 13 pips at 1.6752 (-0.09%). UsdJpy is losing 2 pips at 101.86 (-0.03%).   Both Aussie and Kiwi dollar are little changed against the Greenback: AudUsd is up 3 pips at 0.9382 (+0.03%) and NzdUsd is up 4 pips at 0.8673 (+0.05%).

Gold is losing 82 cents at 1,305.37 $/oz  (-0.06%) and Silver is trading at 19.71 $/oz (-00.27%). Crude Oil is down 45 cents at 101.92 $/barrel (-0.44%).

At 09:00 GMT will be released Eurozone GDP and then US CPI at 12:30 GMT.
