Good morning,

Bank of Japan meeting minutes have mentioned the possibility of expanding asset purchases in a bid to combat deflation. USDJPY trading at 111.32 at time of writing. Banks will be closed in Japan on Monday and there will be no trading activity due to the Vernal Equinox Day Bank Holiday.The Chinese House Price Index for February grew by 3.5%, up from 2.5% previously. In Europe German Producer Price Index figures dropped further than had been expected, while Gross Wages in Hungary grew by 5.8% Norway's Registerest Unemployment data will be out this session, and the Bank of England will publish their Quarterly Bulletin this session. Euro Zone Labour cost figures for the 4th quarter of last year also on the agenda. EURUSD trading at 1.1277 while EURGBP trades at 0.7809

In the US today we see speeches from Federal Reserve members Dudley, Rosengren and Bullard. The Baker Hughes Oil Rig Count and the Reuters/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index for March will bring a conclusion to the week Stateside while in Canada Retail Sales figures and the Consumer Price Index data for February are the main focus for today. USDCAD trading at 1.3023 while USOIL is trading at $41.34 per barrel.
