Good morning,

In Japan the last session of the week was positive and the Nikkei closed at 14,886 (+2.88%), up 416 points. The Hang Seng in Hong Kong gained 174 points at 22,568.24 (+0.78%). In China the Shanghai Composite lost 25.09 points at 2,113.69 (-1.17%).

In Europe equities are calm probably because are waiting the House Data from US (15:00 GMT) and Retail Sales form UK (09:30 GMT). At 09:10 GMT  the Stoxx50 is losing 3.34 points at 3,118.25 (-0.11%) and the DAX in Germany is trading at 9,614.28 (-0.05%), down 4.57 points. The FTSE100 in UK is trading at 6,839.7 (+0.39%), up 26.71 points.

In the FX market EurUsd is trading at 1.3706 (-0.07%), down 10 pips and UsdJpy is at 102.4 (+0.12%), up 11 pips. GbpUsd is flat at 1.6645. UsdCad is up for the third consecutive day at 1.1153 (+0.51%), up 57 pips.

Metals are losing ground this morning and Gold is at 1,319 $/ounce (-0.19%) and Silver is trading at 21.73 $/ounce (-0.48%). Crude Oil is consolidating above 100 $/barrel at 103.21 $/barrel (-0.10%) and Natural Gas is at 6.28 $/BTU (+3.63%).

When the spot market will open in US traders will have a compass of the intraday market sentiment and if the S&P500 will rise above 1850 points and UsdJpy will consolidate above 102 is likely too see an increase of risk taking positions.
