FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 22.11.2016

Good morning,

Asian markets were shook up when a 7.4 magnitude earthquake which struck in the Fukushima region which was felt as far away as Tokyo. USDJPY trading at 111.01 at time of writing. The Reserve Bank of Australia Assistant Governor Christopher Kent is scheduled to speak during this session. AUDUSD trading at 0.7392 at time of writing. New Zealand Visitor Arrivals figures for October are due out in the next 24 hours, as are the Construction Work done in Australia for the third quarter.

In Europe this session we saw the Swiss Trade Balance figures for October failing to meet expectations. EURCHF trading at 1.0732 at time of writing. Danish Retail Sales figures and then Public Sector Net Borrowing figures out of the UK are also on the calendar. Hungary will look at Gross Wages figures, and the Magyar Nemzti Bank Interest Rate decision. The rate is currently set at 0.9%

Across the Atlantic as we head into the Thanksgiving weekend which will see closures in metals, oil and some Indices later this week, we will look first to Canadian Retail Sales figures for September. In the US the Redbook Index and Existing Home Sales figures are out this session. USDCAD trading at 1.3390 at time of writing. The API Weekly Crude Oil Stock figure will be watched closely by oil traders, with USOIL priced at $48.35 at time of writing.
