FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 25.02.2014

Good morning,

Asian markets are not expecting major fundamental news until later in the week, with Japanese figures including unemployment and Consumer Price Index are being released Friday morning their local time. Australia and New Zealand have also scheduled data releases for later in the week. USDJPY was trading at 102.26 with a high of 102.63 and a low of 102.23 so far.

The NIKKEI was trading at 15051.60 up 213.92 points or 1.44%

Europe today saw German GDP figures come out at 0.4% as expected. GBP traders will be focusing on BBA mortgage approval figures and the Inflation Report hearings for today. British GDP figures will be out tomorrow. CABLE was trading at 1.6680 with a high of 1.6684 and a low of 1.6645 so far.

The FTSE100 closed at 6847.79 down 18.07 points or minus 0.26% while the DAX closed at 9708.94 up 51.99 or 0.54%

American markets are expected to be off to a slow start this week with no major news items due for release until later in the week with new FED chair Janet Yellen scheduled to speak on Thursday, followed by GDP and Consumption figures to be released on Friday. EURUSD was trading at 1.3760 with a high of 1.3763 and a low of 1.3729 so far.

The DOW closed at 16207.14 up 103.84 points, and increase of 0.64%
