FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 25.10.2016

Good morning,

Asian markets today will have no data of note scheduled for publication. In the coming 24 hours however there will be Corporate Service Price figures for August out of Japan and then the Consumer Price Index out of Australia for the third quarter. AUDJPY trading at 79.71 at time of writing. New Zealand Trade Balance figures will be out later this week, as will Consumer Price Index data from Japan. NZDUSD trading at 0.7158 at time of writing.

In Europe this session we first get the Business Climate figures for October out of France. German IFO figures wuill follow along with Italian Industrial Sales & Orders figures for August. Then there will be two significant speeches, one from the Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, before European Central Bank President Mario Draghi is scheduled to speak. EURGBP trading at 0.8897 at time of writing.

Across the Atlantic today we will see the Redbook Index, the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices and Housing Price Index figures for August. Consumer Confidence figures and the IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism and the Richmond Fed Manufacturing Index figures for October will all be out this session. EURUSD trading at 1.0885 at time of writing. The API Weekly Crude Oil Stock figures will wrap up the data stateside this session with USOIL trading at $50.55 per barrel at time of writing.
