FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 26.06.2014

Good morning,

New Zealand and Aussie dollar saw gains during the past 48 hours with AUDUSD going from 0.9364 to 0.9412 since the beginning of yesterday’s session. NZDUSD gained 90 pips over the past two sessions to currently trade at 0.8771 Other Asian news due out within the next 24 hours will include some important Japanese data including their updated unemployment rate, and their Consumer Price Index for May.

The NIKKEI was trading at 15308.49 up 41.88 points or 0.27%

In Europe today the focus will be on Bank of England and their Governor Mark Carney who is due to speak with the Financial Stability Report also coming out. CABLE is currently trading at 1.6978 Other European figures out today will include the Norwegian Labour Force Survey which could have an impact on the USDNOK pair which is currently trading at 6.1280

The FTSE100 was trading at 6746.97 while the DAX was trading at 9896.28

The United States will publish Initial Jobless Claims figures with a reading of 310K expected from 312K previously. Personal Consumption spending data is also out this session, with NGAS traders awaiting the EIA Natural Gas Storage change figures. NGAS is currently trading at 4.600 GOLD was trading at around $1310 per ounce heading into the latter stage of the week.

The Dow closed at 16867.51 up 49.38 points or 0.29%
