FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 26.12.2013

Good morning,

Equities in Japan closed at a level that was seen the last time on November 2007. Nikkei closed at 16,744.44 (+1%) and in China the CSI300  finished the session at 2,265.33 (-1.76%).  The credit crunch in the Chinese money market is not finished  and likely the People Bank of China will be more active with banks. In Japan the expectation of the end of deflation lifted stock indices and weakened the Yen. In Europe most of equity markets will be closed today and in US the trading session will be as usual with the jobless claims data released at 13:30 GMT.

In the Currency market the EurUsd is trading at 1.3683 (+0.02%)in a 20 pips range and the UsdJpy at 104.76 (+0.38%) is expected to extend its losses during the 2014 as well thanks to the activism of the Bank of Japan. GbpUsd is trading at 1.6378 (+0.17%) and UsdChf at 0.8963 (+0.09%).

Gold is again above 1,200 $/ounce at 1,206 $/ounce (+0.26%) and Silver is trading at 19.52 $/ounce (+0.39%). Crude oil at 99.40 $/barrel (+0.18%) is headed to test 100 area and Natural Gas is consolidating at 4.45 $/BTU the gains of latest trading sessions.
