Good morning,

Positive market sentiment helped Asian markets to achieve a good trading performance: The Nikkei closed the trading week above 16,000 at 16,178.94 (+0.03%) and in Hong Kong the Hang Seng closed at 23,235.74 (+0.24%). In China the CSI300 rebounded after it lost ground recently on money market concerns. It closed at 2,303.48 (+1.68%).

At 8:28 GMT European equities are quite calm before the release at 13:00 GMT of the Harmonised index of consumer prices in Germany. The DAX is trading at 9,557 (-0.12%) and in UK the FTSE100 is at 6,727 (+0.07%).

In the currency market the EurUsd is trading at 1.3798 (+0.78%) and the UsdJpy at 104.72 (-0.07%). GbpUsd is at 1.6492, just off resistance 1.65,  up +0.5%.

Silver (+0.8%) at 19.92 $/ounce is outperforming  Gold that is trading at 1,212 $/ounce(+0.22%).

Turkish Lira is losing ground to a new all time low against the US dollar because political concern is rising in the financial community. Even in Thailand the political situation is not in a easy moment and investors could pull back their risk appetite from emerging markets.

Have a nice weekend
