After months of speculations, global investors, small businesses, and politicians are bracing for impact as the U.S. Federal Reserve appears determined this week to raise a key short-term interest rate target for the first time since it flattened borrowing costs after the global financial system melted down in 2008. United States 3-Month Bill Auction remains unchanged at 0.28%. United States 6-Month Bill Auction rose from previous 0.535% to 0.585%. USDCHF is trading at 0.9857 while USDCAD is trading at 1.3727.

Some manufacturers may have delayed capital expenditure plans reflecting the slowdown in China and other emerging economies. But overall, companies are maintaining their bullish spending plans, a BOJ official told reporters. The picture for EURJPY has not changed, and as such, traders can use this recent move to sell EURJPY at better levels. EURCAD is trading at 1.5084 while EURGBP is trading at 0.7259.

European Monetary Union Industrial Production w.d.a. (YoY) came in at 1.9%, above expectations (1.3%) in October. European Monetary Union Industrial Production s.a. (MoM) came in at 0.6%, above expectations (0.3%) in October. Italy Consumer Price Index (YoY) in line with forecasts (0.1%) in November. Italy Consumer Price Index (EU Norm) (MoM) above expectations (-0.5%) in November: Actual (-0.4%). Italy Consumer Price Index (MoM) in line with forecasts is (-0.4%) in November. GBPCHF is trading at 1.4915 while EURCHF is trading at 1.0833.
