Foreign currency markets finished slightly better across the board last week, driven primarily by the weaker USD. USD failed to maintain the upside momentum from the previous week when it soared following the release of the stronger than expected U.S. Non-Farm Payrolls report. United States Labour Market Conditions Index climbed from previous 0 to 1.6 in October. United States Monthly Budget Statement below forecasts ($-130B) in October: Actual ($-136B). USDCHF is trading at 1.0062 while GBPUSD is trading at 1.5237.

Germany Current Account n.s.a. climbed from previous €12.3B to €35.1B in September. United Kingdom BRC Retail Sales Monitor - All (YoY) declined to -0.2% in October from previous 2.6%. Switzerland Unemployment Rate s.a (MoM) remains unchanged at 3.4% in October. United Kingdom Claimant Count Change came in at 3.3K, above expectations (1.5K) in October. Germany Gross Domestic Product s.a (QoQ) in line with forecasts (0.3%) in 3Q. Germany Trade Balance s.a. below expectations (€20B) in September: Actual (€19.4B). EURUSD is trading at 1.0770 while USDCAD is trading at 1.3322.

New Zealand Electronic Card Retail Sales (YoY) down to 5.6% in October from previous 6.1%. Australia Investment Lending for Homes fell from previous -0.4% to -8.5% in September. Australia Westpac Consumer Confidence dipped from previous 4.2% to 3.9% in November. New Zealand Business NZ PMI dipped from previous 55.4 to 53.3 in October. GBPCHF is trading at 1.5318 while EURCHF is trading at 1.0832.
