Technical-Analysis-Futures

Good Evening,

Asian stocks declined early Monday, tracking an uninspiring lead from Wall Street, as the Federal Reserve's decision to keep interest rates near zero stoked concerns about global growth. The markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The Shanghai Composite gained 1.89%, while the Nikkei 225 led the Hang Seng lower. They fell 1.96% and 0.75% respectively. Economists expect this week's 'flash' September China factory PMI reading to edge up to 47.5 from 47.3 in August. That would keep it near 6/1-2-year lows, however, and mark the seventh straight monthly contraction in activity. EURJPY trading at 134.87 while CADJPY trading at 90.90.

The Euro’s gains were held in check after European Central Bank Chief Economist Peter Praet reiterated Saturday that the bank is prepared to enlarge its monetary stimulus program if necessary to combat risks from global economic turbulence. USDCHF trading at 0.9707 while EURUSD 1.1195.

US stock index futures extend gains, now up about 0.7%. Wall Street was expected to start the week higher on Monday with a rebound in European stocks, the dollar and oil markets pointing to a tentative recovery in confidence following another difficult day in Asia. The S&P 500 futures remain near their recently-established highs, trading 14 points above fair value. United States Existing Home Sales Change (MoM) below forecasts (-1.3%) in August: Actual (-4.8%). USDCAD trading at 1.3250 while CADJPY trading at 90.88.
