Forex-Fundamental-Analysis

Good Evening,

Asian markets hit by commodity rout, but Glencore shares rebound - business live. EURJPY trading at 134.67 while USDJPY trading at 119.79.

Anglo–Swiss commodity and mining behemoth Glencore saw its shares slip another 29% on Monday with analysts stressing that the weakness is likely to be felt across the entire sector. Glencore's main problem is actually its debt load. European shares fell for the second day in a row on Tuesday as weakness in the commodities sector hit markets, though battered miner Glencore halted its slide after a bruising sell-off on Monday. Volkswagen announced plans on Tuesday to refit up to 11 million vehicles and overhaul its namesake brand to try to move on from the scandal over its cheating on diesel emissions tests. Germany Consumer Price Index (YoY) registered at 0%, below expectations (0.1%) in September. USDCHF trading at 0.9712 while GBPUSD trading at 1.5159.

U.S. Goods Trade Balance; Actual -67.19B, Forecast -57.30B. Canada Raw Material Price Index is down to -6.6% in August from previous -5.9%. United States S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price Indices (YoY) registered at 5%, below expectations (5.2%) in July. Venezuela, Argentina, Turkey, Colombia, and Peru are the emerging market sovereigns that may be the most vulnerable currently to the combined effect of the three key risks of tightening global liquidity, financial deleveraging, and a Chinese slowdown. Mexico, Poland, and the Philippines appear to be least at risk says Moritz Kraemer, S&P's sovereign global Chief Risk Officer. EURUSD trading at 1.1237 while USOIL trading at 45.51.
