Good Morning,

The USD struggled to find a direction on Wednesday as traders and investors were jittery before the Federal Open Market Committee’s decision in the U.S. United States Fed Interest Rate Decision in line with expectations (0.25%). All eyes yesterday were on the Federal Reserve, again, which did nothing, again. US stock futures edged higher on Wednesday, as investors eagerly awaited to see whether the Federal Reserve will decide to hike interest rates this year. U.S. stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Wednesday ahead of a statement from the Federal Reserve and more earnings, after Apple posted results after the bell on Tuesday that topped expectations. U.S. middle market companies continue to report strong revenue growth and confidence in the domestic economy, even as their level of comfort in the global economy and attitude toward investing in their business diminishes amid slowdowns in international markets. USDCHF is trading at 0.99946 while GBPUSD is trading at 1.5266.

RBNZ leaves rate unchanged at 2.75%, further easing “seems likely”. The energy sector led the decline in Asian shares on Wednesday. EURUSD is trading at 1.0920 while USDCAD is trading at 1.3193.

German government bonds are trading moderately higher, yield curve flatter. At last week’s ECB meeting ECB President Mario Draghi sent a very dovish message and hinted strongly at further easing. He succeeded in talking down EUR which has fallen by 4% against USD since his comments. GBPCHF is trading at 1.5178 while EURCHF is trading at 1.0859.
