FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 30.10.2015

Good Morning, 

The London stock market was sitting lower on Thursday as investors continued to weigh the Federal Reserve’s policy statement and looked ahead to US economic growth data. GBPUSD was flat on Thursday, as the pair traded just at 1.5308. EURGBP added 15 points as the EUR recovered after Wednesday declines and the US dollar eased a bit. Germany Consumer Price Index (YoY) came in at 0.3%, above forecasts (0.2%) in October. USDCHF is trading at 0.9895 while GBPUSD is trading at 1.5309. 

The EURUSD recovered 50 points after it plunged on comments from the FOMC on Wednesday evening. Crude Oil reversed course and fell 1% today as traders booked profits after Wednesday surprise rally. We opt to have USDCAD from the long position even if the Fed does not hike in December as the CAD will need to remain weak to facilitate the structural realignment in the domestic economy. EURUSD is trading at 1.0977 while USDCAD is trading at 1.3169.

Reserve bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) is clearly losing its aggressive mood, which it had shown so far. The world has been obsessed with a slowdown in China. The AUDUSD dipped 27 points to 0.7074 falling to its lowest level in year after USD climbed on the Federal Reserve statement. USDJPY dipped 2 points to trade at 121.11 after a jump in industrial production ahead of the Bank of Japan decision due tomorrow morning. JPY is trading against a weak EUR, the pair is trading at 132.96. GBPCHF is trading at 1.5140 while EURCHF is trading at 1.0860.
