FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 19.11.2014

Good morning,

The Bank of Japan left Interest Rates unchanged at 0.1% Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Tuesday he was postponing next year's sale tax hike after the country's slide into recession. USDJPY trading at 117.38 Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda held a news conference this morning and the BOJ voted to continue its purchases of government bonds.

The NIKKEI was trading at 17288.75 down 55.31 points or minus 0.32%

Today in Europe focus will be on the United Kingdom where the Bank of England meeting minutes are out this session. Details of the vote change could point to when the Bank will intervene and raise interest rates. CABLE trading at 1.5612 Euro Zone Current Account balance for September and Construction Output figures for the same month are also published this session. EURGBP trading at 0.8028

The FTSE100 was trading at 6701.80 while the DAX was trading at 9446.42 just after the open this session.

In the US today the FOMC meeting minutes will be published. Following the taper we now speculate as to when Interest Rates will begin to rise, with eyes on the unemployment rate and how the markets react to the end of QE3. The USD responded, with EURUSD trading at 1.2544 and USDCAD trading at 1.1326 USOIL trading at $74 per barrel at time of writing.
