As we can see on the H4 chart, the recent rebound in oil appears to have been short-lived. The prices fell on Monday on concerns about the pace of economic growth in China. Crude oil fell about 3% on Monday.

As we can see on the D1 chart, gold prices ended an uneventful day session moderately lower Monday. The prices breached the 200-DMA then located at 1178.04 and fell as low as 1168.29, before regaining 200-DMA at close.
