As we can see on D1 chart, the EURUSD fell, but did find support against a Fibo support level at 1.1362 (38.2% support came in at 1.1357). The pair traded in a broad range between 1.1362 and 1.1494, before settling at 1.1378.

As we can see on the D1 chart, gold pared gains after reaching a 3.5 month high on Thursday as a stronger-than-expected reading of U.S. inflation drove USD index higher. Prices are now closing in on $1,182 an ounce.
