The pair seeing Sterling pushing to break the 1.5620 level,an area of interest back in December last year, when we saw a range between this level and the 1.58 figure going back to mid November. Closing above the 1.5620 level we could now see the 1.58 level eyed by bullish traders.

Should the price of gold decline further we could see the development of a head and shoulders pattern on the daily chart. Resistance expected towards the 1200 area going forward. Support in the 1180 level area expected should prices drop lower.
