Finding support last week in the 176.50 to the 177 figure area we see the GBP pushing towards the 200 day SMA resistance. A break past the 179 figure could target the 180.75 level and the 50 day SMA going forward.

Should the price of gold decline further we could see the development of a head and shoulders pattern on the daily chart. Resistance expected towards the 1240 area going forward should the 200 SMA area give way. Support in the 1200 region psychological level expected should bearish traders test lower.

Finding strong support towards the 1.48 figure recently we are now after testing the 1.4950 area resistance. Should bullish sentiment break the resistance the 1.5030 area could be eyed. However a bearish breakout could see the 1.47 level come into play.
