The shiny metal lost area 1300 after a short term positive trend brought the commodity above both its 200SMA and the supply line. The RSI indicator is just above 70 and the ATR is below its 30 month high. A breakout above 1310 can lift Gold to 1345.

Trading down recently the 175.50 area could provide a support,a bearish breakout could eye the trendline support towards 172.75 connecting the lows of July 2013 and October 2014. Resistance expected in the area that saw rejection last September in the 179.00/180.75 region. Breakout could test the 182 figure and beyond.
