Weekly chart showing some resistance being met currently at 1.0180 with a further area of resistance expected towards the 1.02 figure, due to possible profit taking. The 50 day SMA at 0.9820 currently could have to be crossed to reverse the bullish trend.

Support giving way in the 0.78 figure area with bearish sentiment continuing beyond this we see a retest of the recent low at 0.7744 which could now offer resistance going forward. Major resistance expected towards the 200 day SMA and a break out would be required in order to reverse this[...]

On the weekly chart going back we see supporting trend line connecting the lows from 1998, 2001 and 2009 which is currently being tested at the $45 level following the break below 50 dollars per barrel. Resistance could now be expected towards this level ($50) with the $56 mark beyond the next expected resistance level.[...]
