FUNDAMENTAL ANALYSIS BY NSFX 18.11.2016

Good morning,

New Zealand's Retail Sales figures were released with the third quarter numbers seeing a 0.9% rise in sales quarter on quarter. NZDUSD trading at 0.7018 at time of writing. German figures out this session include the Producer Price Index data for October. The President of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Dr Jens Weidmann, is scheduled to speak this session. His counterpart, in the European Central Bank, Mario Draghi is going to speak ahead of this, earlier in the session. The Euro Zone Current Account figures for September are also on the agenda. EURUSD trading at 1.0593 at time of writing.

Across the Atlantic today we will see more data out, with Canadian Consumer Price Index data for October and United States Fed Member speeches from Dudley and George as well as the CB Leading Indicator and the Kansas Fed manufacturing activity for November. USDCAD trading at 1.3558 at time of writing. The Baker Hughes Oil Rig Count will also be announced this session with USOIL trading at $44.82 at time of writing.
