The common currency fell to its lowest in five weeks against the greenback. Looking at the hourly chart, the pair rallied higher with lower stocks but found technical sellers near recent highs at the 1.0945 area.

In a big picture USDJPY is moving upwards. We are simply waiting to see whether or not we get a supportive candle in order to start buying, because quite frankly this has been a market that has seen quite a bit of bullish pressure until this year.
