Oil traded within a tight range, but the range resides below moving averages 20 and 50. The medium term bear pressure continues on oil and has turned into a slow drip of losses now, however this does not mean to say that the moves are exclusively lower.

Downside momentum in AUDUSD is rather unconvincing. AUD has completed the correction. The main trend is down according to the daily swing chart. The pair confirmed a mixed closing last night while remaining below the 55 days line.

Gold price has broken above the short-term downward sloping channel and has given a new bullish signal. However, we see a significant amount of resistance all the way up to the 1100.00 level, so we are not ready to start buying quite yet.
